- This sentence describes an action.
Subject Be Past Participle
The Window is broken ( passive voice)
- This sentence describes a state.
Sentence #1 describes an action or event: I broke the window.
Sentence #2 is in the stative passive. It describes a state of being. there is no action taking place. The window is broken. ( because I broke it)
